Pacific Tech Imports is pleased to announce the release of a new model to the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) range of Anti-Rolling Gyro (ARG) stabiliser products in Australia and New Zealand
Key Features
Development
The MHI R&D department has implemented the latest technologies to produce a unit with 30% more anti rolling torque, in a similar volume enclosure, than its predecessor the ARG 125T. Significant R&D was required to achieve the structural strength required for the additional torque in a small frame size.
The compact nature of this unit make it ideally suited to both new builds and retrofit.
The new design follows MHI's simple and durable design philosophies, that have made MHI's products well accepted world wide with over 3000 units in service. Reliability is paramount when out on the ocean and these products are proven performers in this regard.
Testing
The first protoypes were completed in August 2013. These were subjected to 2000 hours of non stop testing on a rolling table, followed by a 3 month field trial in a 22 ton vessel. After successful testing with a zero malfunction rate the product has been released for sale.
This rigorous process ensures the customer is delivered a reliable, dependable unit that will perform for years to come in the challenging marine environment.
